At Cloverdale Baptist Church kids are very important! We are committed to meeting their needs for love, security, understanding and acceptance in a world that is unstable, competitive and, too often, violent.
Our programs are kid-oriented, our volunteers are carefully chosen and screened, and our curriculum is Biblically sound. It is our privilege to care for your children here. Together, as a team, we are growing tomorrow’s leaders. Let’s give them the best. Let’s give them Jesus! After all, they are HIS kids!
Nursery
Our clean and bright Nursery is staffed with qualified, screened and loving attendants and is set up for babies from infant to 24 months. It is our aim to provide a safe and happy environment. The nursery is divided into two age-specific areas:
- The crawlers’ area for those children who are not yet walking.
- The toddler area with equipment and space for those children who are sturdy on their feet.
The nursery is open both during Discipleship Hour at 9:00am and our worship services.
Preschool
All children ages 2–5 are invited to come experience our preschool ministries. Your children will love learning Bible stories from the Gospel Project curriculum taught by creative Bible teachers. The Pre-School Ministry is available each Sunday during the service. Kids spend the first few minutes in the Sanctuary and then are released at the beginning of offering time to head off to their classrooms.
Loving, compassionate teachers build meaningful relationships through prayer, activities and interactive Bible learning. Your child will learn each week who God is and just how much he loves them! It is our goal that our families are equipped to partner with us to build the foundation towards a life-long relationship with Him.
Kids Connection
Kids Connection is a fun and welcoming environment for kids from grades 1 through 6. This program is offered during the 10:30am Sunday Morning Service.
Through the use of the Gospel Project curriculum and the kid-friendly NIrV Bible, kids will learn to encounter God in a real and powerful way. Kids spend the first few minutes in the Sanctuary, and then are released at the beginning of offering time. They will head to the gym for Open Session all together, before breaking off in their age-appropriate classrooms with their small group teachers to learn the lesson for the week in a small-group setting.
Imagine
Our desire is to provide an opportunity for children with special needs, preschool to grade 5, to hear the stories of Jesus, to sing songs of worship and to be introduced to Jesus in a way they can understand. We are also dedicated to providing a way for these families to attend church together, knowing that their child is in a safe, loving environment. Our Imagine program is located in Room 120 (1st floor, Children’s wing)
Trained, background-checked and loving volunteers, 1:1 ratio of volunteer to child, Special sensory toys/equipment that are sanitized weekly, secure room reserved for Imagine use only, and secure Check-In system.

For Nursery and Preschool Ministries
In order to keep our classrooms a safe and healthy place, we require that you keep your child in your care if they have experienced the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:
- Fever
- Rash or skin infection
- Persistent cough
- Non-clear runny nose
