Stewarding God’s Resources for His Glory
To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church,
We want to take a moment to update you on how we are seeking to steward the resources God has entrusted to us with faithfulness, prayer, and vision. God has blessed us abundantly with people and money to invest in Kingdom work here and around Canada and the world.
Scripture reminds us that “it is required of stewards that they be found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2). Every resource God has entrusted us with is to be used for Kingdom work, and we take seriously our responsibility to use God’s money wisely entrusted to us as a church family—for His glory and the advance of His Kingdom.
By God’s grace, we have been able to steward our resources well. This has opened a meaningful opportunity before us: the chance to invest in the work of a local church in Québec. This investment is not simply about sending money, but about partnering in gospel ministry in a place where the need is great and the harvest is ripe.

Pastor Hugo and his wife Lyne warmly welcomed our missions team, that due to a travel crisis were stuck in Quebec enroute to St. Johns. We believe this was a Divine appointment not only for the engagement of our team, but to build a new Gospel Partnership with this church family. We partnered with this church while we were there (Renaissance Church RDP) and are thankful for their ministry to us in housing, feeding and allowing us to join them in ministry.
Our vision is bigger than financial support alone. We long to see a healthy sister church flourish—one that is rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus, and actively reaching its community. As we move forward, our desire is to invest resources entrusted to us:
- Prayer – standing together before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen and sustain this work
- Short-term mission involvement – sending people, not just funds, to encourage and serve
- Relational love and partnership – walking alongside one another as brothers and sisters in Christ
- Giving a one-time gift of $50,000 if the project goes ahead, and having another $50,000 set aside to match any gifts Cloverdale Baptist wants to invest in this building fund (special offering).
We believe this kind of partnership reflects the heart of the New Testament church—a shared mission, shared burden, and shared joy in seeing the gospel advance. It is an opportunity to leverage what God has given us for Kingdom work in Canada and around the world, while deepening our understanding of what it means to be one body in Christ.

Thank you for your continued generosity, faithfulness, and prayerful support for what God is doing to reach people and disciple them here, around Canada and the world. We are grateful to steward these resources together, trusting God to multiply them for His purposes and His glory.
Please join us in prayer for this precious church and if you have other investment opportunities for what God has entrusted to us with people and finances, please let us (one of your Elders) know as we prayerfully seek to maximize what has been given to us for God’s glory and Kingdom impact.
Pastor Rob on behalf of the Elders Board: privileged to serve you and with you.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think… to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations.”
— Ephesians 3:20–21
